How many free scans do I get?

Free users get 3 scans per day. The counter resets at midnight. Upgrade to Subtextly Pro for unlimited scans.

What is Subtextly Pro?

Subtextly Pro gives you unlimited daily analyses, priority processing speed, and shareable analysis cards. It's available as a monthly plan ($3.99/mo) or annual plan ($29.99/yr — save 37%).

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Subtextly. Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions here. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any App Store purchase.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Screenshots are processed in real-time and never stored on our servers. Your analysis history lives only on your device. We don't track you, display ads, or sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Does Subtextly tell me what's true or false?

No. Subtextly is a media literacy tool, not a fact-checker. We analyse how content is framed, whether multiple perspectives are represented, and what techniques are being used. You always make the final judgment.

What platforms can I analyse?

Subtextly works with screenshots from any platform — Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, news websites, Reddit, LinkedIn, and more. If it's text-based content in a screenshot, Subtextly can analyse it.

I restored my purchase but it's not showing as Pro.
